Our Mission
Gnanananda Seva Samajam Inc, USA (GSS) is a Non-Profit Organization established to spread Sampradaya Namasankeerthanam. Namasankeerthanam is the chanting and singing about the Lord and his everlasting grace. It is said to be the simplest method of attaining Moksha or Self Realization in the present Kali Yuga, a world of material life.
This idea was first globalized by Swami Haridhos Giri (affectionately known as Guruji). GSS strives to further fulfill Guruji's vision of globalized Nama Sankeerthanam. GSS also supports the efforts of Guruji to uphold Thennangur: an ashram with multiple mesmerizing Temples; a Charity Hospital to support many villages in the Vandavasi district; Annadhanam Cafeteria Hall feeding 300+ devotees daily; 2 Namasankeerthanam Halls; an Old-Age Home; a Veda Patasala providing education; a Goshala to preserve cows; and beautiful cottages for visiting devotees worldwide.

How We Started
GSS originally initiated in Maryland when a group of like-minded devotees came together during October 2008 to perform Bhajans on the 2nd Sunday of every month. GSS gradually spread out to the DC Metro area and later to various states. GSS now consists of thousands of devotees in Chapters across the United States.
We encourage you to learn about our mission and involve yourself in our cause for music, dance, peace, and humanitarian efforts.
Testimonials/
Just now finished watching yesterday's events. After hearing the Vote of Thanks and the final mangalam, we felt like we are in Swami Sannidhanam in person, with tears. Great Satsangham indeed. Feeling blessed to be a part of it.
